The car was built in 2009 by Thunder Ranch and refreshed in 2009

The engine was assembled by Competition Engineering in Arizona in 2009. 

The engine utilizes an AutoLinea aluminum case and has been fitted with a Garrett turbocharger, an XS Power intercooler, a Turbosmart wastegate and dual-stage boost controller, a Snow Performance methanol injection kit, an external oil cooler, an extended capacity oil sump, dual Dell?Orto DRLA carburetors, and MSD ignition with boost retard. 

The fiberglass bodywork is mounted to a tubular steel frame and is finished in silver. Exterior details include a driver?s helmet fairing, gold-finished Porsche and Spyder badging, a GT-style mirror, mesh headlight grilles, Wendler fender badges, a Le Mans-style fuel filler, and a dual-grille engine cover with leather hold-down straps.
